Fall Color // Olive + Baby Update

Fall is “officially” upon us and by officially I mean Starbucks has released its coveted PSL, yes basic bitch here, which means its the end of summer and start of fall. What else does it mean? Fall fashions! Layers, booties, sweater weather, deep tones, and holiday fun.

Shades of Olive

Currently I’m obsessing over olive shades. I’m not a big fan of green shades but this fall color is must this season. I love it’s versatility as it can be paired with gold/neutral tones or with silver/gray tones.

It’s also a great color to pair with prints. Yes, prints are going to be trending this fall too like leopard and camo and olive pairs perfectly with both. Stay tuned for some of my favorite print pieces.

PinkBlush Dress // Maternity Friendly

This Olive Crochet dress from PinkBlush is on trend for fall and versatile as it can be used during pregnancy and post. I used this dress to check into the hospital the day I was scheduled for my c-section and have used it post baby bump. It’s also nursing friendly which is a big plus if you nurse.

PinkBlush has some other olive dresses in similar styles that will be perfect for your fall wardrobe. Check out their huge selection of dresses and some of my favorites in olive below:

Baby Update – One Month

We’ve officially hit one month over in the Gee house. Baby is doing well overall. Currently, I’m nursing (woohoo for me). I nursed with my first two as well but only for a short period but I’m hoping to go longer with baby Gee. We’ve had some issues with silent reflux and now going through an elimination diet, starting with dairy. Not the easiest for me since I LOOOOVE cheese. I eat some form of cheese everyday plus yogurt and general milk products like creamer for my coffee.

As for me, I am healing well and nursing has helped me lose the baby weight. I’m now 10 lbs below what I was when I got pregnant. I firmly believe that this is due to nursing and not drinking alcohol but could also be the lack of birth control. I guess I’ll now in a couple of months as ween of nursing and reintroduce vodka into my diet.
