Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Who’s ready for the biggest sale of the year? Okay, maybe not the biggest but its a pretty damn big deal. Nordstrom sale veterans know this sale has some amazing mark downs and it sales out quick. But this sale isn’t like most other sales that markdown end of season items. This sale is all new season items. Meaning its a perfect time to stock up on the incoming Fall/Winter styles. I’ve rounded up some pointers to help you take advantage of the sale.
Early Access
Early Access is key to successful Nordstrom Anniversary Sale haul. However, not everyone is privy to this access. Early Access is reserved to Nordstrom Card members-only and it starts EIGHT (8), thats right eight days before the sale opens to the public. What does this mean for you if you are a non card member? Things will be sold out or picked over.
Not into credit use? No biggie. You don’t need to pay with your card, you just need to have one to gain early access.
Plan Ahead
Take a minute to look over Nordstroms Anniversary Catalog and begin planning on items that catch your eye. The catalog is not all inclusive but it does highlight some good stuff. Rounded up some of my favorite first look items.
Reward points
Maximize your reward points. Members get a triple reward point day a year, schedule it for a day during the anniversary sale and get more points for you buck, that is if you plan to spend big. Even a $100 buy will earn you 300 points, so take advantage.
Don’t Hesitate
I happen to buy a “cautious” buyer. I spend hours, literally hours scouring the internet for the lowest price so I tend to be a second guesser when it comes to actually purchasing something. A sales associate told me last week that they will only re-stock items that sale out in the first two days after that its gone for good. This puts the non-card members at a huge disadvantage as well as some card members. Why? Well the sale actually starts one day earlier for level 4 card members, which may or may not be many but if your level 4 your likely spending big bucks already and patiently waiting for your exclusive sale day. So don’t hesitate, if you like it, buy it.
Sale Dates
