I know I’m not the only one who is slightly obsessed with Chip and Jo, Fixer Upper, and all things Magnolia. Watching Fixer Upper on Tuesday nights was a big thing in our house. It gave us lots of inspiration and ideas for own home remodel. But what I loved most about the show was the dynamic between Chip and Jo and the down to earth, modest, religious life they lead. They carried that into their remodels and it was clearly seen as the show grow to amazing popularity over the last five years.
Hearth & Hand
Although, I have yet to make it to the Silos (and I live about two hours away) I am excited to get a little bit of Magnolia and Jo at my local target. While, I feel that I have more of modern taste, I absolutely love Hearth & Hand with Magnolia and some of their pieces work well with our modern/transitional home.
Last month we celebrated my oldest son’s 16th birthday and I wanted a nice way to display the amazing red velvet cake from Susie Cakes when he got home from school. I have a nice cake stand but I was missing the cover so as usual when I’m in a pinch I run over to target for the save.
And save it did. I found this cake stand and pie server from Hearth & Hand. I love the matte black of the pie server and it matched the H&H tray perfectly.
